1Purpose and acknowledgement

1.1Digital assets are speculative and may lose all value. Read this disclosure together with the Terms, fee information and product rules before funding an account. Only use funds you can afford to lose. This disclosure is not a prediction or an exhaustive list of risks.

1.2You are responsible for deciding whether a service or asset is appropriate for your financial circumstances, knowledge and risk tolerance. Availability, a listing, educational material or a risk control does not amount to a recommendation or guarantee.

1.3Risks can occur together. A market fall may coincide with poor liquidity, network congestion, a provider outage and inability to withdraw. Diversification, order controls and security practices can reduce some exposures but cannot eliminate loss.

2Exchange and account structure

2.1We operate NEVIX Exchange. An asset, order book, chart or wallet balance shown by us does not, by itself, prove that a market is liquid, that a particular counterparty exists, or that assets are held in an individually segregated address. Do not infer custody, matching or settlement arrangements from screen labels alone; we explain material arrangements in the relevant product disclosures.

2.2NEVIX Exchange is a brand and platform owned and operated by NeviX. Our technology is powered by Pips Forex Technology. This technology attribution does not transfer ownership of NEVIX Exchange, establish who legally holds assets, guarantee platform availability or allocate a customer’s trading loss.

2.3Your account can contain records for available, reserved, pending and product-allocated balances. These statuses have different meanings. A pending credit may not be available to trade, and an amount reserved for an order, withdrawal or P2P transaction cannot be used elsewhere until settlement or release.

2.4Our role may differ by service. We may operate an order interface, maintain an internal ledger, facilitate a P2P interaction or rely on a disclosed payment, network, liquidity or custody provider. Read the applicable product terms to understand the parties and settlement method for the transaction you choose.

3Market and price risk

3.1Prices can move sharply, gap, be manipulated, or differ between venues. An indicative price or chart is not an executable quote. Market orders can execute at several prices and incur significant slippage. A stablecoin may lose its peg and its issuer or reserves may fail.

3.2Digital-asset markets can operate continuously and move while you are offline. News, concentrated ownership, leverage, regulatory action, token emissions, protocol changes and market sentiment can cause rapid price changes without warning.

3.3Charts, indexes and reference prices can be delayed, interrupted or calculated differently from an executable price. A displayed percentage change or estimated account value may use a reference currency and should not be treated as a guaranteed liquidation or withdrawal value.

3.4Market manipulation, wash trading, spoofing or misleading information can distort apparent supply, demand or volume. Our monitoring cannot identify or prevent every abusive act before it affects a market.

4Orders and execution

4.1A limit order may remain open, partially fill, or never fill. Crossing orders may execute immediately, including against liquidity supplied by sources described in the trading rules. A stop order can trigger without filling. Confirmation of submission is not confirmation of execution; verify executions, fees and balances in transaction records.

4.2Technical errors may cause rejected, delayed, duplicate or inconsistent order states. Contact support@nevix.com promptly if an order or balance looks wrong; do not submit repeated instructions based only on a generic error message.

4.3A market order prioritises execution rather than price. A limit order controls its limit price but not whether, when or how much will fill. A stop condition only activates the next instruction and does not guarantee execution at the stop price.

4.4An order can fill in several parts against different sources at different prices and fees. Cancellation affects only the remaining quantity after the cancellation reaches the matching system. During fast markets, a fill may occur before a cancellation is confirmed.

4.5System safeguards such as price bands, quantity limits, self-trade controls or market pauses can reject or cancel an instruction. These controls support market integrity but do not guarantee an error-free price or protect you from ordinary market loss.

5Liquidity and concentration

5.1Small markets can have wide spreads and little depth. A large order may move the price substantially or be impossible to complete. Trading volume and liquidity can disappear during stress. Concentrating holdings in one asset, venue or stablecoin increases loss exposure.

5.2Reported historical volume does not ensure future liquidity. Liquidity providers can withdraw, trading pairs can be suspended and an asset can be delisted. Exiting a position may require accepting a worse price, splitting an order or waiting without certainty of execution.

5.3Concentration includes exposure to a single token, issuer, blockchain, stablecoin, counterparty, strategy or account. Assets that appear unrelated in normal conditions can become highly correlated during market stress.

6Balances, custody and insolvency

6.1Your NEVIX balance is an internal record, not a bank deposit or guaranteed claim on a particular on-chain address. The legal status and recovery of assets can depend on the actual custody, pooling and banking arrangements, which we disclose before use. Our failure or insolvency, or that of a material provider, could delay or reduce recovery. Do not assume deposit insurance or a government compensation scheme applies unless we expressly identify one that is legally applicable.

6.2Assets may be recorded in pooled operational arrangements rather than an address or bank account dedicated to you. Accurate books and records are therefore important to identify customer entitlements. Operational error, fraud, legal attachment or inadequate records can delay reconciliation and return.

6.3A security interest, insolvency process, legal hold or claim by another party may affect access or recovery depending on the applicable arrangement and law. The market value of an asset can change while access is delayed.

6.4Any statement about reserves, segregation or insurance applies only to the scope and date stated. It does not guarantee solvency, eliminate operational risk or cover every cause or amount of loss.

7Transfers and blockchain networks

7.1Blockchain transfers are often irreversible. A wrong address, unsupported network, missing memo or smart-contract error can cause permanent loss. Networks may congest, reorganise, halt, fork or be attacked. Confirmations and credited balances can be delayed, and network fees vary.

7.2Address formats can appear similar and malware can replace a copied address. Verify the complete destination, network and memo or tag before confirmation and consider a small test transfer where appropriate. An address allowlist reduces some risks but cannot establish that the owner or purpose is legitimate.

7.3A blockchain fork, validator failure, protocol upgrade, airdrop or token migration can lead us to suspend deposits and withdrawals while we assess support. We may not support every forked asset, distribution or recovery method.

7.4Smart contracts and bridges can contain defects, governance weaknesses or compromised keys. A transaction interacting with them may be irreversible even if an exploit is later confirmed.

8Stablecoins and counterparties

8.1Token issuers, payment providers, banks, custodians, market makers and P2P counterparties can fail, freeze assets, dispute transactions or become unavailable. We may not be able to redeem a token that is redeemable elsewhere. When we list an asset, we do not thereby endorse its issuer or reserves.

8.2A stablecoin can trade below or above its target because of reserve concerns, redemption limits, legal action, technology failure or market panic. The label “stable” does not mean its value is fixed or government guaranteed.

8.3Counterparty exposure can arise before final settlement, during a payment reversal, through an issuer or provider, or when assets are held or transferred for a product. Contractual rights may be difficult to enforce across jurisdictions or in insolvency.

9P2P trading

9.1P2P participants may use false payment proofs, chargebacks, stolen funds or identity impersonation. Never release crypto solely because a buyer selected “Paid” or supplied a screenshot. Verify cleared funds in your own account and use the platform dispute process. Off-platform dealings may remove available protections.

9.2Payment names may be incomplete or forged, and a bank credit can later be frozen, recalled or linked to suspected fraud. Do not accept a third-party payment where the P2P rules require name matching. Do not include digital-asset references in a payment message if the payment method prohibits them.

9.3P2P escrow reduces the risk of premature crypto transfer but does not guarantee the legitimacy or finality of fiat payment. An appeal depends on available evidence and can delay release. Preserve bank records and communicate only through the order channel.

9.4Never agree to a different price, payment route or communication channel after an order begins merely because a counterparty claims urgency. Report coercion, requests for authentication codes and suspicious advertisements through support.

10Futures and leverage

10.1If enabled, leveraged futures can lose margin quickly and may produce losses beyond initial margin where the contract and law permit. Mark price, funding, liquidation, insurance and auto-deleveraging rules can affect results even if the last-traded price appears different. Do not trade a contract without understanding its separate rules and liquidation thresholds.

10.2Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. A small adverse movement can consume available margin, trigger liquidation and close a position at a price worse than expected. Adding margin or using cross-margin can place more of your account balance at risk.

10.3Perpetual contracts may require periodic funding payments. Funding rates can change, and repeated payments can make a position unprofitable even when the market price moves little. Funding is separate from trading fees and realised profit or loss.

10.4Liquidation engines, insurance funds and auto-deleveraging mechanisms are risk-management tools, not guarantees against loss. During extreme conditions, execution can be delayed or positions can be reduced according to the disclosed rules.

11Earn and automated products

11.1If enabled, Earn, staking or automated trading can expose principal to protocol, counterparty, smart-contract, liquidity, model and lock-up risks. An APR/APY or historical performance that we display is not a guarantee. Redemption may be delayed or unavailable. We do not represent a product as risk-free merely because we display rewards.

11.2A displayed annualised rate can change and may be calculated from a short period. Rewards can be paid in an asset whose price falls. Fees, slashing, validator failure, protocol changes or early redemption can reduce or eliminate returns.

11.3Automated tools depend on rules, data and assumptions that can fail in unfamiliar market conditions. They may continue trading during volatility unless their product controls stop them. Monitor enabled strategies and understand how to pause or terminate them.

11.4Lock-up or redemption periods can prevent immediate access to assets. A request to redeem is not complete until the applicable protocol, provider and account records settle it.

12Security and technology

12.1Phishing, malware, SIM swaps, credential theft, API misuse, outages and software defects can cause loss or unauthorised activity. Protect your email and authentication factors, verify domains, and report suspicious activity to security@nevix.com. Security controls reduce but do not eliminate risk.

12.2Attackers may impersonate staff, create lookalike websites, offer fake support or ask you to move assets to a “safe” wallet. We do not need your password, private key, seed phrase or one-time code to provide ordinary support.

12.3Internet, device, power, cloud or provider failures can prevent access, order submission, cancellation or withdrawal. A delayed screen does not mean an instruction failed; check authoritative history before trying again.

12.4API keys and automated access can enable rapid losses if permissions are excessive or credentials leak. Restrict permissions and network access where available, rotate compromised keys immediately and monitor activity.

13Law, tax and access

13.1Laws, sanctions, tax rules and access restrictions can change. A transaction permitted today may later be restricted or require additional information. You are responsible for understanding your own tax position, subject to any reporting or withholding obligations that apply to us.

13.2A legal change can require us to restrict an asset, network, product, jurisdiction or account without the notice normally possible for a commercial change. Assets can lose value while a lawful restriction remains in place.

13.3Digital-asset transactions can create reporting, withholding, capital-gain, income or other tax consequences. Records we provide may not contain every figure or classification required for your circumstances.

13.4Sanctions and financial-crime controls can delay a transaction while identity, source of funds, ownership or destination is reviewed. We may be prohibited from explaining certain reports or investigations.

14No guarantee or personalised advice

14.1We do not guarantee profit, liquidity, uninterrupted access, recoverability of an unsupported transfer or the value of any asset. General market information we provide is not personalised investment, legal or tax advice. Seek independent professional advice where appropriate.

14.2You should conduct your own assessment of an asset, issuer, protocol, counterparty and transaction. Consider your objectives, financial capacity, time horizon, technical knowledge and ability to bear a total loss.

14.3Educational content, rankings, labels, research, market data, promotional material and availability on NEVIX do not constitute due diligence on your behalf. Past performance, back-testing and simulated results do not predict future performance.

14.4By using a service, you acknowledge the risks that apply to it; however, this acknowledgement does not waive mandatory legal rights or excuse our failure to perform an obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
